All coaches to follow ECB code of conduct for coaches


All coaches to be CRB checked & in Date

To have more coaches in place and level ll qualified

Consider the appointment of a second Child Welfare Officer (male & female)


Malewelfare officers in place at present.

As the coaches become qualified, each will be given the duty of welfare officer to gain experience

All coaches and volunteers at the club hold CRB checks

Local school Partnerships

Numbers and dates disclosed annually and held confidentially on data base



Who will be involved and what resources are required?

Child Welfare Officer(s) Club Development Manager- Data base required for dates of renewals

Durham County Cricket Board-Safeguarding procedures to be updated every three years

Schools in Derwentside- Partnership Lead contacts for schools

How will we measure success?

All coaches to be registered

Annual evaluation and awareness assessment
